Working globally

With the growing realisation that climate change is happening now, the importance of phenology is increasing world-wide. Networks in Canada and Europe, and individuals from other countries have expressed an interest in the way that this website is being developed. If we all adopt the same web-based, recording system we will be able to develop a truly global phenology network and track the effects of climate change across the planet.

If you represent an organisation in another country that would be interested in developing a website along these lines, please email us.

The European Phenology Network aims to increase the efficiency of, and add value to, the use of phenological monitoring and research in Europe in the context of global climate change. The UK Phenology Network was well represented at the last EPN conference on 31 March and 1 & 2 April 2003, which brought together phenologists from all over the world. EPN details.
