Kate has recently added the challenge of two bright and active young sons to her family mix.

conservation adviser

A keen cyclist and self-confessed
landscape history nerd, Sian spends
a good deal of time exploring the
countryside and mulling over the history
that has shaped it.




Tim Sparks
phenology statistician

Lovingly referred to as Uncle Phenology
Tim loves nothing better than torturing
some data until it confesses. He is not
related to Arthur Lowe... though we
suspect otherwise!
His desk was last seen in 1997.


Christine Tansey
PhD researcher

Christine is based in Edinburgh where she is a regular attendee of morning coffee in the Institute of Evolutionary Biology.
She is getting used to cycling in the city and is trying to set up a moth club for closet lepidopterists.
