project manager

Lover of chocolate and all things canine,
Kate is back at the helm of 
Nature's Calendar after a year of
real work - looking after baby Dan,
and young Sam aged 2.



Sian Atkinson
conservation adviser

A keen cyclist and self-confessed
landscape history nerd, Sian spends
a good deal of time exploring the
countryside and mulling over the history
that has shaped it.



Tim Sparks
phenology statistician

Lovingly referred to as Uncle Phenology
Tim loves nothing better than torturing
some data until it confesses. He is not
related to Arthur Lowe... though we
suspect otherwise!
His desk was last seen in 1997.

Sue Mallinson
network coordinator

Sue is our resident fungal expert and
is mainly to be found discussing,
photographing and eating her pet
subject, hence the photo.
Always cheerful and keen to help,
her desk features an impressive 'fungarium'.
