Protecting ancient woodland

Find your nearest ancient woodland

Zoom in on your local area
At 'city level' (move the slider on the left-hand screen) one of the data layers is called 'ancient woodland inventory'. When switched on it shows all the ancient woods in your area as icons. At ‘local level’ these resolve into the actual shapes of the woods - hovering your mouse pointer over them gives more information.
