There is a fascinating world of nature all around us which we can see if we know how to look for it. Take this course to learn how to find, study and record the plants and animals in your local area.
 
Carry out a field study in your local area.

Share your observations on iSpot and help create a picture of the wildlife across the country.

  • Learn basic scientific and observational skills.

  • No prior scientific knowledge required.
  • Support provided by study advisors via email, web forums and telephone.
  • Course book, DVD and website.
  • 10 CATS points towards a degree on successful completion of the course.
